Victoria has recently held it's Annual General Committee in which a new committee was elected. The results are as follows:

The 09-10 NUGAS Victoria Committee would like to thank the 08-09 committee for their efforts.

Former National President of NUGAS Lambros Tapinos was elected Mayor in his local council of the City of Moreland last month. Mayor Tapinos, a Brunswick local, was National President of NUGAS between 2004-2005, and held numerous other roles within NUGAS during his time studying at Victoria University. During his time in NUGAS he led many awareness campaigns, and with Cameron Palassis helped formulate NUGAS' response to the Australian Government on Voluntary Student Unionism. 

 NUGAS would like to take this opportunity to extend its congratulations and best wishes to Lambros and hope that Moreland prospers under his guidance and leadership.
